The Downtown Wallaceburg BIA would like to thank Mel and her team at Farmer’s Gold for choosing downtown Wallaceburg to officially launch their new business!
Farmer’s Gold makes the finest cheesies with corn from local farmers, with local workers, and in a local factory. These cheesies have no MSG, no food colouration, and are finished with a crisp oven bake. Farmer’s Gold introduced the farmers who grow the corn that makes their cheesies so amazing:

Glasstown Brewing Company and CKXS threw an amazing launch party on March 23rd and both sides of the brewery were packed with farmers, contestants, and residents. A prize wheel, a mini putt, and a bean bag toss were all set up to win prizes; however, the biggest prize of the night went to Howard Talbot who won the “Wallaceburg’s Big Cheese” contest put on by 99.1 CKXS. He won an amazing prize package of a Yeti cooler filled with some amazing swag worth almost $2000!
At launch, they’ll be selling white cheddar, jalapeño, and onion ring flavours. All three flavours were on display during the launch party and even Mel’s dad, Gary, was handing out samples. This is a family affair in every sense of the word! They even had special Caesars available made with dill pickle vodka or jolly rancher vodka crafted by Manns Distillery from local corn milled by Dover Corn. Everyone left the party with a bag of cheesies and a smile.
Farmer’s Gold has two more launch events over the coming days so keep an eye on their social media. In two weeks, they will announce where you will be able to buy your very own bag.
