An early morning trip to the market is a great reason to check out the breakfast menu at one of our downtown restaurants like the Riverport or the Black Goose.

After breakfast come over to Civic Park to see Whimsies Paddle Rental to rent a kayak to explore our beautiful waterways. They have a range of kayaks suitable for everyone from first timers to more experienced kayakers, and they are offering half-price paddles this Saturday. The local food truck, Beef Meatz Bun will also be in Civic Park serving lunch from 10:30 am until 2:00 pm. If you have never tried this food truck, this is a great opportunity, and they offer things you won’t find anywhere else.

After lunch, take a walk through downtown to check out unique stores with something for everyone. Also, take some time to enjoy the beautiful waterfront, the view of the downtown bridges, and all the flowers that add life and colour to our downtown. At the end of the day, head over to Glasstown Brewery for a drink or something to eat. Don’t forget to take your Whimsies Paddle Rental receipt Glasstown Brewery to get $5.00 off your bill.
