Whimsies Paddle Rental is almost halfway through our 2024 season! We are so lucky to have an extensive and bio-diverse water system that connects Downtown Wallaceburg to more than 207 km of calm water trails running along rural banks, abandoned industrial shipping sites from a bygone era, and miles of beautiful marsh land.
Our hours for this season are:
Monday – 1 pm – 7 pm
Tuesday – Closed
Wednesday – Closed
Thursday – 1 pm – 7 pm
Friday – 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday – 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday – 10 am – 4 pm
We are able to accept walk ins during our open hours, but if you would like to book in advance you can do so online here: https://wallaceburgbia.com/product/kayak-rentals/ or by phone at 519-627-3459. Make sure to leave a voicemail so our staff can get back to you during operating hours.
Whimsies currently has a variety of vessels available for rent:
5 – 10 foot, single person kayaks – great for beginners
1 – 12 foot, single person kayak
1 – two-person kayak
2 – youth kayaks, with stabilizers – great for ages 6 – 10
2 – 15 foot, single person kayaks – great for more advance paddlers
Located at 779 Dufferin Ave, in Civic Square Park in Downtown Wallaceburg, the Whimsies office will also serve as a central location for the community and visitors to the area to find out more about local tourism, Chatham-Kent and its businesses.
