The Wallaceburg BIA partners with people and organizations throughout Wallaceburg and we are always looking for more volunteers and collaborators. The downtown businesses believe that only by working together can our town grow and flourish. We envision a future where Wallaceburg is a better, healthier, and a more exciting place than ever before. We understand that everyone is busy, so if you cannot commit to an ongoing project, you can help out with a one-time event. Whether you’re looking to improve our community, for volunteer hours for highschool, or some experience to add to your resume, we have lots of opportunities for you.
If you have a green thumb, we would love your help in designing and maintaining the downtown gardens and planters. Are you passionate about locally grown food and locally made products? Come join our Farmer’s Market Committee. Is Christmas time your absolute favourite? If so, you could help with our Christmas Open House, or the River of Lights Committee. If you’re passionate about our local waterways and the boardwalk, check out Whimsies Paddle Rental and the Boardwalk Improvement Committee.
