In celebration of Community Living Month, we’ve partnered with Community Living Wallaceburg and the Municipality of Chatham-Kent for a garbage clean up and BBQ event! On Thursday, May 23rd starting at 10am, please meet at the Civic Square Park for garbage pick-up supplies. Participants are asked to pick up litter and other debris throughout or downtown area and put the litter in garbage bags supplied by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Everyone is welcome! Any participant under the age of 18 must have adult supervision to participate in the project.
Gloves and garbage bags will be supplied to the participants. At noon, we invite everyone down to 1100 Dufferin Ave (Community Living Wallaceburg main office) for a delicious and free BBQ.
