Every year, thousands of visitors fill the downtown core and waterfront to experience an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment, classic cars, antique boats, motorcycles, food vendors, shopping, family activities, and community celebration. With the Sydenham River as its backdrop and small-town hospitality at its heart, WAMBO transforms Wallaceburg into a vibrant festival destination all weekend long.
WAMBO stands for Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing, a tradition that began in 1989 and has grown into one of Canada’s largest transportation festivals. What started as a local celebration of Wallaceburg’s rich automotive and boat-building heritage has become a major annual event that brings together visitors, collectors, families, and volunteers from across the region.
